This entire apartment once belonged to Myrle, the younger (by three minutes) of Savannah’s legendary twin sisters. While her sister Mildred next door was all about rose gardens and quietly judging the neighbors, Myrle lived for porch parties, clinking glasses, and late-night serenades that left Savannah society clutching their pearls. Built in 1848 by their father — who commissioned two identical townhouses so he wouldn’t have to favor one daughter over the other — this home has housed nearly two centuries of laughter, secrets, and a few things better left unsaid. Today, you can stay in Myrle’s former quarters — now a clean, stylish, and spacious upstairs flat, just steps from Forsyth Park. The layout is ideal for two couples or a small group of friends who want to stay together but enjoy a little space and privacy. A Little Lore... Myrle may have passed on (after a dramatic fainting spell at a garden party — or so the family says), but some guests still feel her presence. A whisper of perfume. A flicker of lights. A wine glass mysteriously moved. She never liked a party to end early — so if you hear something after midnight, maybe pour her a glass and let her have her moment. Our Housekeeper, Miss Stacy Your stay is cared for by Miss Stacy, our long-time housekeeper and honorary innkeeper. She’s sweet as pie, but convinced the sisters still play tricks on her — like hiding towels, rearranging throw pillows, and turning lights on when no one’s around. She swears it’s Myrle. We don’t argue. Location, Location, Porches You’re just 2 blocks from Forsyth Park, walking distance to cafes, brunch spots, and some of Savannah’s most photographed streets. Whether you’re headed to a ghost tour, a picnic in the park, or a cocktail crawl through downtown, this is your perfect home base. Not Fancy, Just Fabulous This home isn’t sleek or modern — it’s historic, with all the quirks that come with it. The floors may creak, and not everything is perfectly square. But it’s clean, comfortable, well cared for, and full of stories that modern condos just can’t tell. So come stay where Savannah’s wildest sister once held court — and maybe raise a toast to her from the porch.

This home was built in 18th century — and with that comes charm, quirks, and character. You may hear a creaky floorboard or notice a window that sticks. We don’t call it perfect — but it’s clean, comfortable, and full of soul. Some guests say Myrle still pops in from time to time. If your wine glass moves or you hear laughter after midnight... don’t worry. She’s just being social. 🐾 Pet Policy & Long-Stay Billing We happily welcome pets! There is a $100 pet cleaning fee, and we kindly ask that pets stay off the furniture and be crated if left alone. For stays over 30 days, guests will be billed separately for utilities (electric, water, and gas) based on actual usage.

Street parking is free and typically easy to find right out front.
